A Microwave Imaging System for Structural Diagnostics
Publication date: 18 Nov 2025
A multistatic/multiview close-proximity microwave imaging system for detecting and localizing voids and inclusions in a non-planar medium is presented. The antennas are arranged around the background medium and imaging is achieved through an incoherent beamforming strategy, that does not require antenna characterization. A hybrid clutter rejection algorithm completes the inversion process. Experimental measurements on heterogeneous inclusions within a dielectric, non-planar background have been carried out to validate the system.
